I create something permanent from unrepeatable moments of life. Here is what that looks like.
Every photograph I make is a time machine.
The session is the raw material. The time machine is what comes out the other side: an album on a shelf, a portrait on a wall, a print in someone’s hands. An object that can move the person holding it back to a moment they lived, or forward into the life of someone who was not there when it happened.
The sessions I run — senior portraits, maternity and newborn, weddings, families — exist to create these objects. What follows is what they look like.
Albums
A fine art album is not a photo book.
The distinction matters because they are commonly confused: they use photographs, they have pages, they are held and flipped through. But they are made differently, to different standards, and they do different things over time.
A consumer photo book is assembled online, printed at consumer-lab standards, and bound with consumer-grade materials. It is designed for convenience. Many are made. Most are forgotten inside a year.
A fine art album is designed by a photographer from a curated set of images, printed on archival photographic paper, and bound with materials built to last for decades. The images are flush-mounted — no gutters, no white edges breaking across spreads. The cover is selected from leather, linen, or other materials with structural integrity. The binding lies flat. The album can be opened and closed thousands of times without the spine degrading.
The album line is built in two construction tiers.
Standard Albums
The foundation of the album line. Available in multiple sizes. Built to archival standards with flush-mounted spreads, archival photographic paper, and a range of cover materials. Not a photo book, not a consumer lab product. The smallest size is appropriate for a gift or a secondary copy. Larger sizes are for primary display and use.
Sizes available: small (approximately 8×8), standard (approximately 8×12), and large (approximately 12×12).
Premium Albums
The highest construction tier in the album line. Premium albums are differentiated by cover construction, binding quality, and overall presentation. The materials are more substantial. The experience of holding one is distinct from a standard album. Available as part of the full-session premium collections.
Sizes available: standard (approximately 8×12) and large (approximately 12×12).
Wall Art
A photograph at the right size on the right wall changes the room.
The most common error in displaying family or portrait photography at home is choosing a size that seems reasonable in hand and is underwhelming on the wall. An 8×10 is a desk frame. Photographs on walls — the anchor portrait in a living room, the primary image from a wedding, a senior portrait displayed in a family home — read at 16×20 and up, and hold a wall at 24×36 and larger.
Framed Prints
A fine art print, properly matted, in a quality frame selected for the finish of the image and the room. The frame is not decoration. It is part of the final product. Well-made prints don’t get inexpensive frames. The selection of frame finish and mat is made at the reveal appointment with the specific image in front of you.
Canvas PRO
This is not a canvas wrap. Canvas PRO is archival 12-color HD printing on real cotton canvas — not polyester, not PVC — mounted on a rigid, non-deformable unibody wooden panel. It never collapses. It never bulges. It doesn’t stretch. The surface has an exclusive anti-glare Touch finish that reads as well in a room as it does in a photograph. Every edge is finished; there is no visible hardware, no raw back, nothing that looks like a product in progress. It’s complete on all sides because it’s meant to be encountered from all angles.
Floating PRO
Where wall art stops looking like photography and starts looking like art. Floating PRO presents Canvas PRO, Metal PRO, or Acrylic PRO prints in precision wooden frames handcrafted in Italy, available in eight colors and three finishes. The result is a wall object with a presence and material weight that a standard framed print doesn’t approach.
Acrylic PRO
The highest-contrast format in the wall art line. Plotter printing on ultra-clear acrylic with an anti-UV filter — images appear lit from within, with exceptional tonal depth and clarity. Suited to images with strong graphic quality and rooms where impact is the priority. Available as a standalone piece or within the Floating PRO frame system.
Frames and Collections
A single portrait holds one wall. A designed collection holds a room.
Gallery wall collections — multiple images designed to work together in a single installation — require planning. The arrangement, the sizing of each piece, the finish consistency, and the relationship between images are all design decisions. I handle that design process rather than leaving it to you to assemble after the fact.
Collections are typically designed at the reveal appointment, built around a central anchor image with supporting pieces at appropriate scale. They can draw from a single session or across multiple sessions: a sequence of annual family portraits, a senior portrait alongside earlier childhood images, a wedding portrait next to an engagement image.
Hand-designed gallery walls are available across all sessions for clients whose walls and existing decor warrant a more involved installation plan.
Keepsakes
Not everything belongs on a wall or in an album. Some things belong in a drawer, on a bedside table, in the hands of someone who wanted a copy of their own.
Archival Print Sets
Individual prints, matted and archival, in a protective keepsake box. A gift-appropriate alternative to the primary album, or a complement to it. Used frequently as duplicate sets for parents or grandparents who were present for a session.
Gift Albums
Smaller-format albums built to the same construction standards as the full album line. Appropriate as gifts for immediate family members who want their own version of the session.
Tabletop Prints
Fine art prints sized for display on a desk, shelf, or surface — not a wall. Built to archival standards. A quieter format for the images that belong in a bedroom rather than a living room.
Graduation Announcements
Designed from session images. Available for senior clients who want announcement cards that reflect the quality of the session rather than a standard print vendor.
How This Works
None of these decisions happen under pressure or without context.
At the end of every session, a reveal appointment is scheduled. Not a gallery link sent by email. An in-person or video appointment where the photographs are presented as finished artwork and the decisions about what to make from them happen with the work in front of you.
Before the appointment, albums are pre-designed in multiple size and layout options. Wall art is previewed in mockups of your actual rooms, not generic room templates. Product samples are available to handle before making final decisions. The process is designed to make good decisions easy rather than leaving them to guesswork.
Payment plans are available across all sessions. The goal is for the right product to be accessible, not for the financial structure to determine what you end up with.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I order products after the reveal appointment?
Yes, within the order window. I hold your gallery for a defined period after the reveal. Beyond that window, orders require re-editing and processing that may change the pricing. The reveal appointment is the right time to make decisions, and the process is designed to make that easy.
Do I need to know what I want before the appointment?
No. Album layouts and wall art options are prepared in advance and presented at the appointment. You respond to options rather than building from scratch. The process is guided.
What is the difference between a fine art album and a photo book?
Construction, materials, longevity, and intent. Fine art albums are built to archival standards with flush-mounted spreads, archival paper, and quality binding. Consumer photo books are printed at consumer-lab standards and typically do not last more than a decade with regular use. The full comparison is here.
Are albums available in different cover materials?
Yes. Leather, linen, and other cover materials are available within each album tier. The specific selection is made at the reveal appointment.
Do you offer digital files?
Digital files are available as an add-on across all sessions. They complement the physical products, appropriate for sharing, social, and day-to-day access. Physical products are the primary deliverable of every session; digitals support that rather than replace it.
